Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a power management method, and a network device, a storage medium and a program product. The method can comprise: a network device determining the length of a time slice, wherein the length of the time slice is used for setting the state of at least one physical layer interface of the network device, and the length of the time slice comprises an active time period, a low-power-idle time period and a wake-up time period, the physical layer interface being in an operating state within the active time period, the physical layer interface being in a low-power-idle state within the low-power-idle time period, and the wake-up time period being used for the physical layer interface to switch from the low-power-idle state to the operating state; and the network device setting the state of the at least one physical layer interface on the basis of the length of the time slice. The embodiments of the present disclosure can achieve, in the case of a low load, a power-saving effect which is irrelevant to a traffic arrival mode.
