Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power generation apparatus which uses a waterwheel and rotates the waterwheel by the pressure of the head of falling water to generate electricity and, more specifically, to a power generation apparatus using a waterwheel wherein water is pumped, by a motor pump, from a water tank installed at a lower portion of the power generation apparatus so that the operation of the generator is stopped in an initial operation of the waterwheel to rotate the waterwheel more easily and thus a load generated at the initial rotation of the waterwheel is reduced, and, when the rotation of the waterwheel is transmitted to the generator, the rpm of the rotation is increased to generate maximum electricity by using minimum energy.
