Abstract:
A power control device (500) of a construction machine has an engine (100), an actuator driven by power of the engine (100), an engine control portion (510) for automatically stopping the engine (100) when the actuator does not need drive, and an air conditioner (200) for conditioning the air in an operation cabin. The device is characterized in that, when a detection portion (520) detects that the air conditioner (200) is in operation while it is being operated, the automatic stop of the engine (100) by the engine control portion (510) is prevented even when a portion (530) for determining whether or not engine power is required determines that the power from the engine (100) is not required.
