Abstract:
Provided is a portable terminal that, when acquiring images of various objects, suppresses reflection other than the images of the objects and glare. A smartphone according to the present invention has an image acquisition module 30 built therein. The image acquisition module 30 is provided with a frame fixed to a case of the smartphone. A light source part 40 that irradiates an object 100 with light, a first polarizing plate 45 that converts the light emitted from the light source part 40 into linearly polarized light, a second polarizing plate 55 that transmits the light reflected from the object 100, a camera 60 that receives the light having been reflected from the object and having passed through the second polarizing plate 55 and that outputs an image signal of the object, a polarizing rotator 50 that transmits the linearly polarized light having passed through the first polarizing plate 45, and a controller 70 that converts the linearly polarized light passing through the first polarizing plate 45 into circularly polarized light or elliptically polarized light by controlling a voltage applied to the polarizing rotator 50 are fixed to the frame.
