Abstract:
Provided is a porous zirconia-based composite oxide characterized by satisfying all of (1) to (3) below within a pore distribution range, based on the BJH method, of 2 nm or more and 200 nm or less, and having a pore volume of 0.01 cm3/g or more and 0.25 cm3/g or less within a pore distribution range, based on the mercury intrusion method, of more than 100 nm and 1000 nm or less. (1) A dV/dlogD peak is within the range of 2 nm or more and 100 nm or less. (2) The dV/dlogD peak maximum value is 1.5 or more and 5.0 or less. (3) The pore volume within the range of 2 nm or more and 100 nm or less is 0.30 cm3/g or more and 1.50 cm3/g or less.
