Title:
POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION AND MARINE HOSE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/163175
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a polyurethane composition having exceptional pot life, curability under room-temperature conditions and in open systems, foaming resistance, hardness after curing, abrasion resistance, and water resistance; and a marine hose. The present invention relates to: a room-temperature-curable polyurethane composition containing a urethane prepolymer that has an isocyanate group and is formed from a polyether polyol and tolylene diisocyanate, a curing agent that contains trimethylene-bis(4-aminobenzoate) and/or 2-methylpropyl 3,5-diamino-4-chlorobenzoate, and adipic acid that serves as a catalyst, the composition being such that the molar ratio of isocyanate groups in the urethane prepolymer and amino groups in the curing agent is 0.90-2.00, and the content value for trimethylene-bis(4-aminobenzoate) and/or 2-methylpropyl 3,5-diamino-4-chlorobenzoate is 95-100 mol% of the total curing agent; and a marine hose formed using said composition.
