Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of battery separators. Specifically disclosed is a method for preparing a polyolefin separator raw material. The method comprises firstly adding a pore-forming agent into a stirring kettle for preheating, dissolving an antioxidant into an excess of the pore-forming agent while heating and stirring, then separating undissolved solids and the liquid by means of a separator, adding the separated liquid and polyethylene into a melting equipment, and melting, plasticizing and mixing same to obtain a polyolefin separator raw material. According to the present invention, the antioxidant is dissolved by using an excess of the pore-forming agent, and the liquid separated by means of the separator is melted with PE, so that the compatibility of the two is improved, which ensures a smooth torque of the melt; and the addition mass fraction of the antioxidant is increased, the antioxidant is more uniformly dispersed in the system, and the antioxidant is sufficiently dissolved. The problems of a blockage occurring during discharging and the pore-forming agent yellowing are solved, and it can be ensured that the pore-forming agent, when recycled, can be reused, and thus the cost for re-treating or directly discarding the recycled pore-forming agent is greatly reduced. A prepared PE lithium battery separator is more stable in performances.
