Abstract:
The present invention pertains to: a nonwoven fabric formed of a polyethylene resin; and a method for producing said nonwoven fabric. A method for producing a polyethylene nonwoven fabric according to the present invention comprises: a step for mixing 1.0-5.0 mass% of a thermally degraded polyethylene wax with a polyethylene resin; and a step for melt spinning the mixture at 280°C or higher, particularly a step for spinning the same through a melt-blowing process. As a result, it is possible to obtain a new nonwoven fabric that has excellent productivity by inhibiting gelling during heating and melting, without compromising heat resistance.
