The present invention pertains to a polyethylene multilayer film. More specifically, the present invention pertains to: a polyethylene multilayer film having excellent strength against internal and external impacts; and a packaging material using same. An aspect of the present invention pertains to a polyethylene multilayer film containing polyethylene as the main component, wherein at least one layer contains polyethylene A satisfying the following properties (1) and (2), and the difference in melting temperature between a first surface layer (outer layer) and a second surface layer (inner layer) is at least 20°C. (1) There is at least one cross fractionation chromatography (CFC) peak between 88°C and 100°C and at least one CFC peak between 40°C and 75°C, and the weight average molecular weight in the range of 40-75°C is at least 90,000 g/mol. (2) The melt index measured at 190°C and 2.16 kg according to ASTM D1238 is 0.2-10 g/10 min.
