Abstract:
This polyarylate resin has repeating units represented by formulae (1), (2) and (4). The polyarylate resin further has a repeating unit represented by formula (3), in which the content of the repeating unit represented by formula (3) to the total of the repeating units represented by formulae (1) and (3) is 0 to 50% exclusive. Alternatively, the polyarylate resin does not have the repeating unit represented by formula (3). In formula (1), R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and X represents a bivalent group represented by formula (X1) or (X2). In formula (3), R5 and R6 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.
