Abstract:
A pneumatic and flexible drum brake includes: a brake drum(4); two floating shoes(3) oppositely arranged inside of the brake drum(4); friction linings(5) set between the float shoes(3) and the brake drum(4), which contact with the brake drum(4) when braking is done; and flexible sleeves(7) arranged in the axial end of the float shoes(3), which put onto the shafts of the floating shoe(3) ends and floated with the float shoes(3); the cross-section of the inner shape of the flexible sleeve(7) is elongated circular. The brake has simple structure, and can reduce the vibration and the brake noise.
