Abstract:
The present invention provides a plug, a steam pipe structure, and a method for installing a plug which can suppress a non-welded portion from being generated in a part to be welded. A plug (1) which blocks a through hole formed in a steam pipe from an outer circumferential surface side of the steam pipe is provided with: a pipe stand portion formed into a columnar shape extended in an axis line (X1) direction; a groove surface (31), a diameter of which is reduced from an outer circumferential side in a radial direction orthogonal to the axis line (X1) direction in a direction toward a tip (11) side from a base end (12) side; a straight surface (32) extended from an end portion of the groove surface (31) along the axis line (X1) direction toward the base end (12) side from the tip (11) side; and a groove portion (35) formed to be protruded from the pipe stand portion (30) by the groove surface (31) and the straight surface (32).
