A pistonless double-acting cylinder apparatus, comprising a piston rod part (1), a first cylinder part (2) provided on the piston rod part (1), a second cylinder part (3) provided at an end surface of the first cylinder part (2), pull rods (5) connecting the first cylinder part (2) and the second cylinder part (3), nuts (4) provided on two ends of the pull rods (5), and a first sealing ring (7) provided between the first cylinder part (2) and the second cylinder part (3). The piston rod part (1) consists of a piston rod left segment (11), a piston rod center segment (13), and a piston rod right segment (15), the diameters of the piston rod left segment (11) and the piston rod right segment (15) being larger, and the diameter of the piston rod center segment (13) being smaller. The present cylinder apparatus does not include a traditional piston, but achieves two-direction action under the effect of a medium, thus being more flexible than a single-acting cylinder apparatus, one action direction of which requires the use of a spring. In the present invention, only the two ends of the first cylinder and the second cylinder require processing, making processing simple and convenient.
