Abstract:
A piston device (1) capable of reducing internal friction in a heat engine converting the reciprocating motion of a piston into the rotating motion thereof. An air bearing is formed by flowing out a gas from a crank side hollow part (31) formed in a crankshaft (30) into clearances between the crankshaft (30) and a bearing part (9B) formed in a crankcase (9) and between the eccentric part (30c) of the crankshaft (30) and the large end part (201) of a connecting rod (20). Also, an air bearing is formed by flowing out a gas from a pin side hollow part (43) formed in a piston pin (40) into a clearance between the piston pin (40) and the small end part (202) of the connecting rod (20).
