Abstract:
This piston is provided with an annular piston band (7). The piston band (7) has an annular protrusion (8) formed at one axial end of the piston band (7) and having a larger outer diameter than the remaining portion of the piston band (7). Circumferential annular shallow grooves (9a) and circumferential annular deep grooves (9b) deeper than the shallow grooves (9a) are axially alternately formed in the outer periphery of the remaining portion.
