Abstract:
Provided is a piston brake apparatus, comprising a transmission shaft between an initiating component and an operating component, and also comprising a cavity (4) filled with liquid, and transmission components (2, 3) connected to the transmission shaft; when the drive shaft rotates, the transmission components (2, 3) drive the volume of the cavity (4) to periodically change; also comprising pressure regulation components (7, 8) used for controlling the internal pressure of the cavity (4). The arrangement of the piston brake apparatus solves the problem of the braking methods in the prior art all involving converting kinetic energy into internal energy by means of friction, and it being impossible to completely eliminate the problem of slip failure caused by brake wear, and thus achieves the objective of avoiding brake failure caused by friction damage during braking.
