Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a pipe joint capable of preventing accidental rotation of a rotary connecting member in a connected state. [Solution] The pipe joint 1 is composed of a male pipe joint member 10 and a female pipe joint member 12 that are detachably connected. The female pipe joint member 12 comprises a rotary connecting member 24 capable of rotating on the outer peripheral surface 22a of a female-side body 22 and a movable fixed member 26 capable of pivoting in relation to the rotary connecting member 24. The rotary connecting member 24 has an engagement surface 38 facing toward a rear end part 36 of the rotary connecting member 24. When a male-side body 16 is inserted into the rotary connecting member 24 and the rotary connecting member 24 is caused to rotate to a connecting position, an engaging projection 18 engages with the engagement surface 38 to create a connected state in which the male-side body 16 and the female-side body 22 are in a sealed engagement. When the movable fixed member 26 is pivoted to a fixed position in this connected state, the movable fixed member 26 comes to a position of interfering with the engaging projection 18, and the rotary connecting member 24 is prevented from rotating from the connected position to a disconnected position where the engagement surface 38 does not engage with the engaging projection 18.
