Abstract:
A pipe joint in which a cylindrical male member is inserted into a cylindrical female member and the two members cannot come apart, wherein the pipe joint comprises: a cylindrical male member 10 in which a bottomed groove 111 extending along the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface is formed so as to facilitate machining of a mounting groove in which a seal member is mounted; a cylindrical female member 20 in which the cylindrical male member 10 is inserted and a slit 23 overlapping the bottomed groove 111 is formed; and a lock member 30 which has an elastically deformable open ring form fitted over the cylindrical female member 20, of which a part passes through the slit 23 and fits into the bottomed groove 111, and which renders the cylindrical male member 10 incapable of coming apart from the cylindrical female member 20, a mounting groove 113 being formed in the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical male member 10, and a seal member S that creates a seal between the cylindrical male member 10 and the cylindrical female member 20 being mounted in the mounting groove 113.
