Abstract:

Provided is a pipe joint structure for an exhaust gas processing device for an industrial vehicle, the pipe joint structure being configured in such a manner that a gap for introducing outside air is formed at a pipe joint portion and that the pipe joint structure can absorb an external force and facilitates the fine adjustment of the gap. An exhaust pipe (5) is provided to a diesel particulate filter (exhaust gas processing device)(1), and the tapered front end (5a) of the exhaust pipe (5) is inserted in an opening (4a) of a tail pipe (4) to form a gap, which has a tapered cross-sectional shape, between the front end (5a) of the exhaust pipe (5) and the opening (4a) of the tail pipe (4). The exhaust pipe (5) has first bracket members (11, 11'), the tail pipe (4) has second bracket members (12), and mounting bolts (13, 13') are inserted through the first and second bracket members. Coiled springs (15, 15') are disposed on the outer peripheries of the mounting bolts (13, 13') between the first and second bracket members. In this configuration, the front end (5a) of the exhaust pipe (5) is supported relative to the opening (4a) of the tail pipe (4) so as to be elastic in the longitudinal direction of the pipes.
