Abstract:

In order to make it possible to remove the airtightness from a ferrule when necessary, without sacrificing the airtightness performance of the ferrule, even when using a general-purpose tool, a pipe fitting (Ja) is equipped with: a ferrule (33) for sealing the interval between the inner circumference of a fitting-body section (16) and the outer circumference of a pipe (P) in an airtight manner, by receiving a pressing force in the axial direction from an immobilizing member (66a), when screwing the immobilizing member (66a) on by rotating the same in the tightening direction; a loosening male screw part (68) having a reverse threading from the screwing direction of the fitting-body section (16) and the immobilizing member (66a), and formed on the outer circumference of the immobilizing member (66a); a loosening tool (130) capable of being screwed onto the loosening male screw part (68); and a pressure-receiving part (39) for contacting the loosening tool (130) and restricting any additional screwing therebeyond, when screwing the loosening tool (130) onto the loosening male screw part (68) and rotating the immobilizing member (66a) in the direction opposite from the tightening direction.
