Abstract:

The objective of the present invention is to provide a pipe detachment preventing device for a union nut pipe fitting, with which it is possible to omit an inner core, and to prevent a pipe becoming detached from the pipe fitting even if a pulling force large enough to extend the pipe acts thereon. A linking and holding means (7) includes a tilting mechanism (8) which, when a first projecting portion (41) and a first opposing portion (55) are in contact with one another and a joined pipe (100) is loaded with a pipe pulling force extending the joined pipe (100), causes a lock ring (4A) to tilt toward a pipe axis direction (X) relative to a reference plane (P) perpendicular to a central axis (C) of a lock ring main body (40), in such a way that one of a circumferential direction central portion (40y) and a circumferential direction end portion (40x) of the lock ring main body (40A) is caused to approach a fitting main body (2), and the other is caused to move away from the fitting main body (2).
