Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pipe coupling with which an assembly operation for connecting two pipes can be rapidly and easily performed. To this end, the present invention discloses a pipe coupling which comprises: a first member which comprises a body formed in a semi-annular shape to surround a portion of a connection part of each of two pipes and has a support groove formed inside the inner circumference thereof for supporting an annular sealing member, flanges which are integrally formed at the end portion edges of the body and have vertically extending through-holes therein and seating-grooves formed around the through-holes, and cutting blades integrally formed with edges of the flanges; a second member which is formed to have the same shape as the first member, is disposed symmetrically below the first member, and is coupled to the first member when bolts and nuts are fastened; and identification members which are inserted between the mutually facing flanges of the first member and the second member, and of which a portion protruding outward from the flanges is cut by the cutting blades when the first member and the second member are coupled by inserting the bolts into the through-holes of the first and second members and tightening the nuts.
