Abstract:
Provided are a photographing apparatus, a photographing method, and a program which make it possible to easily and rapidly find a frame in which an event desired by a user is captured, even when data communication with an external device via a recording medium is performed. A photographing apparatus 10 is provided with: a photographing unit 11; a moving image file generation unit 13 that generates a plurality of moving image files from a moving image acquired by the photographing unit; a storage unit having a first folder and a second folder that store the moving image files; an event detection unit 15 that detects an event frame including an event from a plurality of frames constituting the moving image; and a control unit 19 that, when a second moving image capturing mode is selected, causes, among the plurality of moving image files, a first moving image file including the event frame to be saved in the first folder, and causes moving image files not including the event frame to be saved in the second folder.
