Abstract:

The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and provides a phased array apparatus and a communication device, for use in reducing the area of a phased array. The apparatus comprises: an antenna array comprising multiple antenna units; multiple receiving channels, the multiple receiving channels being coupled to the multiple antenna units, the multiple receiving channels each comprising a transconductance stage circuit, the transconductance stage circuit comprising a first transconductance unit array and a second transconductance unit array, and both an input end of the first transconductance unit array and an input end of the second transconductance unit array of each receiving channel being coupled to the antenna unit corresponding to the receiving channel; a quadrature mixing circuit, in-phase input ends and quadrature input ends of the quadrature mixing circuit being coupled to output ends of the first transconductance unit arrays of the multiple receiving channels and output ends of the second transconductance unit arrays of the multiple receiving channels, respectively; and a signal processing circuit, an input end of the signal processing circuit being coupled to an output end of the quadrature mixing circuit.
