Abstract:
Disclosed is a pendulum damper assembly for a torque converter. The pendulum damper assembly for a torque converter according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pendulum support body including a plurality of flanges which extend from an outer circumferential surface outwardly in the radial direction and are arranged in the circumferential direction at constant intervals; a plurality of masses which are arranged such that opposite ends thereof respectively face front and rear surfaces of two adjacent flanges based on the radial direction; a plurality of intermediate masses arranged between two adjacent flanges based on the radial direction and coupled to the masses in a state of being interposed between the masses facing each other; and a plurality of rollers for coupling the masses, to which the intermediate masses are coupled, to the pendulum support body such that the locations of the masses vary with respect to the pendulum support body, according the centrifugal force, along a track set in the circumferential direction of the pendulum support body. The masses may each include gap maintaining protrusions which protrude toward the pendulum support body from respective surfaces facing the front and rear surfaces of the pendulum support body, such that gaps may be formed between the masses and the pendulum support body and an operating fluid is introduced therebetween.
