Abstract:
A parking brake mechanism is provided with: first and second brake shoes (15, 17), one end side of each of which is the input side to which an input from an expansion mechanism (19) is applied; an anchor section (37) which is in contact with the one end side of each of the first and second brake shoes (15, 17); and a transmission lever (53) which is rotatably supported by the first brake shoe (15), has an input side end in contact with the expansion mechanism (19), and has an output-side end in contact with an adjuster (21) connected to the other end side of the second brake shoe (17). A predetermined gap is provided between the other end side of the first brake shoe (15) and the adjuster (21).
