Abstract:
Provided is a parallel link mechanism by which interference drive and gravity-direction separating deceleration are both realized. This parallel link mechanism 10A comprises: a first parallel link unit 47 (40, 41, 42) which has a base end oscillatably linked to a second movable body 30; a second parallel link unit 48 (42, 43, 44) which has a base end oscillatably linked to a leading end of the first parallel link unit 47; a first arm unit 45 which has a base end turnably linked to a first movable body 20 and has a leading end portion turnably linked to an intermediate position of the second parallel link unit 48; a second arm unit 46a which has a base end turnably linked to the second movable body 30 and has a leading end turnably linked to an intermediate position of the first arm unit 45; and linear motion units 60, 70 which are capable of individually elevating and lowering the movable bodies 20, 30. The second parallel link unit 48 has a leading end thereof oscillatably linked to a hand device 50.
