Abstract:
A parallel link mechanism (9) has a distal-end-side link hub (13) coupled to a proximal-end-side link hub (12) through three sets of link mechanisms (14) such that the posture can be changed. The link mechanisms (14) each have: a proximal-end-side end portion link member (15) having one end rotatably coupled to the proximal-end-side link hub (12); a distal-end-side end portion link member (16) having one end rotatably coupled to the distal-end-side link hub (13); and a center link member (17) having both ends rotatably coupled to the other ends of the proximal-end-side and distal-end-side end portion link members (15, 16). The three sets of link mechanisms (14) are each provided with a rotation transmission mechanism (42) in two rotational kinematic pair parts (T3, T4) including the proximal-end-side and distal-end-side end portion link members (15, 16) and both ends of the center link member (17), the rotation transmission mechanism (42) making the rotation of one of the rotational kinematic pair parts cause the other rotational kinematic pair part to rotate reversely.
