Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a paging method, an apparatus, a chip and a module device. The method comprises: a first access network device receives a first paging message sent by a network device, the first paging message comprising first instruction information, the first instruction information being used for instructing the first access network device to carry out paging in a first bandwidth, and the network device being a second access network device or a core network device. By using the method described in the present application, an access network device can select an appropriate BWP to initiate paging.
