Abstract:

An LLZ oxide according to one embodiment of the present invention is a garnet oxide that contains Li, La, Zr and O as main constituent elements, while containing substituent elements such as Zn in addition to the main constituent elements. The substituent elements may comprise Bi, Nb, Hf and the like in addition to Zn. This LLZ oxide is used, for example, as a solid electrolyte for an all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery. An all-solid-state lithium ion secondary battery according to the present invention is provided with: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a solid electrolyte layer that is arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
