Abstract:
An outer shell member (10) constituting an accumulator (100) comprising: a cover member (30); the outer shell member (10), which has a tubular section (11), an opening section (13) formed at one end of the tubular section (11) and welded to the cover member (30), and a closure section (12) formed at the other end of the tubular section (11); and a pressure accumulation component (70) housed in the outer shell member (10). The tubular section (11) has an upper end portion (11a), and a flared portion (11c) having the opening section (13), and the wall thickness of the flared portion (11c) is thicker than the wall thickness of the upper end portion (11a).
