Abstract:
This protrusion forming device 39, which forms a protruding section 20 for preventing detachment of an internal component, is provided with: a protrusion forming part 42 that has a convex shape and is pressed against an opening end surface 2a of an outer joint member 2 to form the protruding section 20; and a positioning part 45 that makes contact with a track groove 5 and determines a position, at which the protruding forming part 42 is pressed against the opening end surface 2a, with respect to the track groove 5.
