Abstract:
An optical-fiber cutting device (10) for cutting an optical fiber (20) is provided with: a blade member (14) configured to make a scratch on the optical fiber (20); and a rotary mechanism (16) that rotates the blade member (14) by a prescribed angle each time the blade member (14) makes a scratch on the optical fiber (20). The prescribed angle is a value by which 360 is not divisible.
