Abstract:
An optical computation device (1) comprises: an optical modulation element (11) that includes a plurality of cells in which modulation amounts can be independently set; and a mirror (12). In the optical modulation element (11), N-number of computation areas A1, A2, ..., AN are set. In the computation area A1, optical computation is performed by modulating and reflecting incident light. In each computation area Ai excluding the computation area A1, after modulation and reflection are performed in a computation area Ai-1, optical computation is performed by modulating and reflecting signal light reflected on the mirror (12).
