Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application disclose an optical module and an optical network device. The optical module provided by the present application comprises: a first optical component and a second optical component; the first optical component is used for sending a first optical signal of a first wavelength, the first wavelength is the wavelength of visible light or near-infrared light, and the first optical signal is used for optical fiber detection; and the second optical component is used for sending a second optical signal of a second wavelength and/or receiving a third optical signal of a third wavelength, and the second optical signal and the third optical signal carry service data. Therefore, according to the technical solution, the detection of an optical fiber and the visualization function of an optical distribution network are implemented by means of the first optical signal transmitted by the first optical component; and the second optical signal and the third optical signal carry service data, such that the communication function and the visualization function of the optical module are integrated.
