Abstract:
An operation device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a movement member having a mechanism for reciprocal motion; a drive unit for imparting forward-moving and backward-moving driving force to the movement member; a location sensing unit for sensing a movement location of the movement member; a braking unit for imparting resisting force for resisting the movement of the movement member; and a control unit for adjusting the driving force and the resisting force by controlling the drive unit and the braking unit in accordance with the movement location of the movement member sensed at the location sensing unit. The invention makes it possible to impart accurate action and a sense of fine-tuned operation to the movement member for reciprocal motion.
