Abstract:
Provided is an operation assistance device comprising an estimation unit for estimating, on the basis of actual values of impurity data pertaining to the speed of accumulation of an impurity on an ion exchange membrane in an electrolytic bath, the speed of decrease in the performance of the ion exchange membrane. The actual values of impurity data may include the actual values of the amount of accumulation, or the actual values of the speed of accumulation, of one or more elements constituting one or more impurities accumulating on the ion exchange membrane. The estimation unit may estimate one or more impurities on the basis of the actual values of the amount of accumulation, or the actual values of the speed of accumulation, of one or more elements, and estimate the speed of decrease in the performance of the ion exchange membrane on the basis of the actual values of the amount of accumulation, or the actual values of the speed of accumulation, of the one or more impurities estimated.
