Abstract:
Disclosed is an operating device provided with: a substrate on which a contact pattern is formed; a contact member which abuts against the substrate in a first direction; a movable member which supports the contact member so as to be displaceable in the first direction; a support member which guides movement of the movable member; and an elastic body which has one end abutting against the movable member in the first direction and another end abutting against the contact member in the first direction, and which urges the contact member toward the substrate in the first direction. The movable member is configured to be capable of being positioned in a plurality of positions including a first position in which the contact member abuts against the contact pattern and a second position in which the contact member does not abut against the contact pattern. The support member is provided with: a first surface in a first location against which the movable member positioned in the first position abuts; and a second surface in a second location against which the movable member positioned in the second position abuts, the second surface being positioned on the side farther from the substrate than the first surface in the first direction.
