Abstract:
This power conversion device is provided with a power conversion circuit constructed so as to convert DC power to three-phase AC power, and a control device constructed so as to generate two-phase reverse phase current from the three-phase AC current output by the power conversion circuit and to detect an open phase on the output side of the power conversion circuit on the basis of the magnitude of the amplitude of the two-phase reverse phase current. The control device may also be constructed so as to determine that the open phase has occurred when the magnitude of the amplitude of the two-phase reverse current has increased and the current of at least one of the phases of the three-phase AC current has decreased.
