Abstract:
A one-way clutch, having an inner ring, an outer ring for forming a plurality of wedge-shaped spaces between the outer ring and the inner ring, and a plurality of rollers disposed in the wedge-shaped spaces. The rollers engage with the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring and the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring, whereby the output shaft of a speed-up gear and the input shaft of a generator are connected so as to enable integral rotation. Releasing the engagement cuts the connection. When θa represents the wedge angle of the wedge-shaped spaces when a load torque at the initial stage of the roller engagement is applied and θb represents the wedge angle when the maximum load torque is applied, the relationship 1.1 <θb/θa < 1.4 is satisfied.
