Abstract:
This one-way clutch is disposed between an input rotation body and an output rotation body, connects the input rotation body so as to allow integral rotation in a state in which the rotational speed of the input rotation body is greater than that of the output rotation body, and severs the connection of the input rotation body in a state in which the rotational speed of the input rotation body falls below that of the output rotation body. A plurality of engaging elements or inside rings and outside rings are configured from a base material made by the soft nitriding of a steel material made of martensite stainless steel, and the Vickers hardness of portions up to 20 µm from the surfaces of contact parts is 1000 to 1500 Hv.
