Abstract:
The present invention relates to a one touch-type rebar coupler configured such that, when rebars are connected, a plurality of pieces are automatically clustered, thereby firmly retaining the rebars. The one touch-type rebar coupler according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a pair of coupler bodies, each having a hollow portion having a tapered portion formed thereon such that the inner diameter thereof gradually increases from entrances formed on the upper-end portion and the lower-end portion thereof, respectively, toward the opposite side; a plurality of pieces, each having an outer surface installed to adjoin the tapered portion and having a plurality of locking protrusions arranged on the inner surface thereof such that joints of a rebar engage with and are supported by the locking protrusions; a fracture holder comprising a separation portion installed on one side of the pieces such that the same contacts an end portion of a rebar inserted into the coupler bodies and is pressurized thereby, piece coupling portions arranged on a peripheral portion of the separation portion at a predetermined interval along the circumferential direction such that end portions of respective pieces are inserted into and coupled to the piece coupling portions, and a fracture portion that connects the peripheral portion of the separation portion and the piece coupling portions and is cut when the separation portion is pressurized by an end of a rebar; an elastic member that applies elastic force to the piece coupling portion toward an entrance; and a socket arranged between the pair of coupler bodies and inserted through the opposite end portion of the entrance of each coupler body, thereby connecting the pair of coupler bodies to each other.
