Abstract:
An offshore large-diameter high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline weld junction loosening handling method, comprising the following steps: S1, preparing a transportation track, a winch, an excavator, a transportation trolley, a crane ship, a barge, and a centrifugal pump; S2, using air bags to float a pipe section that is fell off, moving the pipe section to a predetermined position and making the pipe section to submerge to the bottom; S3, determining the position of a ballast block, and sealing an weld junction on the end of the pipe section that is fell off; S4, exhausting air and pumping water to cause the pipe section to float upwards again; S5, after the pipe section floats, pulling the pipe section to the water contact end of the transportation track on the land and fixing the pipe section; S6, pulling the pipe section ashore to a preset position and locking the pipe section; and S7, repairing the pipe section and preparing for transportation. The method above achieves the recovery and repair of the pipe section of the large-diameter HDPE pipeline that sinks to the bottom caused by weld junction loosening during a floating process at sea, thus avoiding large economic losses, and is applicable to a wide range of water depth, has low requirements for ship machinery devices, and requires few operators.
