Abstract:
In this object movement device: a carrier plate has a window glass attached thereto; a guide rail extends in a movement direction of the window glass W and slidably engages with the carrier plate; a cable is connected to the carrier plate; a drum winds up or unwinds the cable so as to move the carrier plate along the guide rail; and a cable guide is attached to an end in an extending direction of the guide rail, the tension of the cable acting on the cable guide. The cable guide has a fitting part which prevents the cable guide from separating from the guide rail. The guide rail has a fitting hole with which the fitting part is fit loosely. In a state in which the tension of the cable is acting on the cable guide, the fitting part is disposed away from the guide rail. With such structure, it is possible to provide a window regulator that can reduce the occurrence of abnormal noise.
