Abstract:
A nut removal prevention device has high strength achieved without using a complex structure, can be manufactured at low cost, can be mounted irrespective of dimensional tolerance of a nut and the shape of a seat surface, can hold the nut in a firmly tightened state, and has enhanced security by making removal of the nut difficult. The nut removal prevention device (1) for preventing the nut (N) from being removed has a holding prevention section (2) which is formed in a substantially truncated cone shape and which has an insertion hole (21) formed at substantially the center of the holding prevention section (2) and allowing a male screw section (B) of a bolt to be inserted through the insertion hole (21), a hollow containing section (3) which is formed in the lower surface of the holding prevention section (2), has a substantially circular recessed shape located around the insertion hole (21), and has a volume capable of housing the nut (N), and a staking section (4) which projects in a thin plate shape from the upper surface of the holding prevention section (2) so as to extend along the circumferential edge of the insertion hole (21) and which can be staked toward the male screw (B) inserted.
