Abstract:
[Problem] To continuously ensure cooling capability for cooling a fluid discharged by a nozzle-type steam trap. [Solution] A high-pressure chamber is communicated with a steam introduction port. A discharge chamber is communicated with a drain discharge port. A low-pressure chamber is provided to the downstream side of the high-pressure chamber and the upstream side of the discharge chamber. A nozzle sprays a fluid inside the high-pressure chamber into the low-pressure chamber on the basis of a pressure difference between the high-pressure chamber and the low-pressure chamber. A high-specific-heat member is disposed facing the nozzle on the low-pressure chamber side and is formed from a material having a higher specific heat than does a housing. This makes it possible to minimize reductions in cooling capability relative to the fluid sprayed from the nozzle and to maintain this state over a long period of time even in a heated environment exposed to the high-temperature fluid sprayed from the nozzle.
