Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel microbe that can decompose plastic and a plastic decomposition method using same. The microbe can decompose at least one plastic selected from the group consisting of PET, PVC, PS, PP and PE under appropriate incubation conditions and convert the plastic into a low molecular weight substance.
