Abstract:
This nonwoven fabric for an absorbent article comprises a first fiber layer and a second fiber layer layered in the thickness direction, with fiber fusion portions at intersections between the fibers. The first fiber layer has a recess-protrusion structure including a plurality of protrusions and bottom portions provided between the adjacent protrusions. The plurality of protrusions are each provided with a tip portion and a wall portion supporting the tip portion. The wall portion includes an opening penetrating in the thickness direction. The second fiber layer is arranged on the side of the first fiber layer on which the bottom portions are present. The second fiber layer has a raised portion provided on a side facing the first fiber layer and going into a region defined by the wall portion from the opening of the first fiber layer.
