Abstract:
The present invention provides a loosening-prevention method which enables easy and quick fastening operation of nuts and from which strong and reliable loosening-prevention effects can be obtained. A lock nut 1, as a whole, comprises a first nut 11 and a third nut 13 resulting from removing the middle portion nut from a single nut cut into three nuts midway at an angle perpendicular to an axis. In the third nut 13, an eccentric columnar part 133 having a diameter larger than the diameter of a nut screw hole 132 is provided so as to protrude axially outward from a cut surface 131 and so as to be eccentric in a direction perpendicular to the center axis of the third nut 13, and a lateral surface protruding part 134 is formed on an outer circumferential lateral surface of the eccentric columnar part 133. In the first nut 11, an eccentric cylindrical part 113 which fits with the eccentric columnar part 133 is bored in a cut surface 111 so as to be eccentric in a direction perpendicular to the center axis of the first nut 11, and a radial groove 115 and an axial groove 114 are formed therein in the radial direction and in a direction parallel to the center axis, respectively.
