Abstract:
The present invention relates to a non-aqueous electrolyte, comprising a novel electrolyte additive, for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a non-aqueous electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery, which comprises an additive capable of forming a stable film on an electrode surface. The present invention also relates to a lithium secondary battery, which has improved high-temperature lifetime performance and suppresses the battery thickness expansion during storage at high temperatures to lead to superior high-temperature storage performance, by containing such a non-aqueous electrolyte.
